You can play this game without creating an account, without signing in, and without telling us who you are. We never ask for your name, your email address or your phone number, and the game has no field in which to enter them.
What we do handle is the data the game needs in order to work — your progress, your purchases, and the technical information that advertising and crash reporting require. This page explains each one.
The game requests no Android permission that would give it access to any of these.
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| ARSS our own servers, api.arss.studio |
Player identifier, cloud save, purchase verification, leaderboard entries | To keep your progress safe if you change or reset your device, and to confirm that a purchase you paid for was actually delivered |
| Google Play Billing | Purchase and payment processing | To sell in-app items. Google is the merchant; we receive confirmation of a purchase, never your payment details |
| Firebase |
Anonymous authentication, leaderboard and multiplayer records, App Check attestation, analytics events, crash reports | To run leaderboards and multiplayer, to block cheating and tampered copies of the game, and to find out what is broken |
| Google AdMob | Advertising identifier, device information, ad interactions | To show the ads that keep the game free |
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services listed above.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your advertising choices the first time you open it, through Google's consent interface, before any ad is requested. You may change that choice at any time from Settings → PRIVACY & DATA → Privacy choices inside the game.
You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier on your device under Settings → Google → Ads, which limits how ads are personalised regardless of anything the game does.
Game and account data is kept while you play. If you stop playing, it stays until you ask us to delete it, because a player who returns after a year expects to find their progress where they left it.
Crash and analytics data is kept according to Google's own retention schedules. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax, accounting and refund obligations require, in the de-identified form described on the deletion page.
You can erase everything from inside the game, in three taps, without asking anyone. The steps, and an exact list of what is erased and what is kept, are on their own page:
Traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted in transit. Requests are attested with Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity, so a modified copy of the game cannot write to your account. Purchase receipts are verified server-side rather than trusted from the device.
This game is made for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, write to the address below and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase the data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how it is used. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. Deletion is also available directly in the game, as described above.
If this policy changes, the new version appears here and the date at the top of the page changes with it.
